The Blu Taj

Helt Design was selected to convert an existing restaurant into what is now one of the top Indian dining experiences in the Charlotte, NC area, The Blue Taj.

The interior décor is cozy, modern, and eclectic to pair with the contemporary Indian cuisine. The restaurant features multiple uniquely themed dining areas to keep the guest’s delight progressing with each visit. A chic wine cellar also graces the floor of the restaurant where curated wine selections are housed in a temperature and humidity-controlled space.

As a former pizza restaurant, the kitchen had to be reorganized with new equipment to meet the needs of the new menu and employee workflow. With tenants above the suite, a creative approach to venting the kitchen hood was designed and implemented seamlessly.
